 VIDEO Description

Disc golf as a sport is played in dedicated disc golf courses. In this video Avery goes trough tools on how to find a course near you.

WHERE TO START THROWING YOUR DISCS

Stepping onto a course for your first round can be nerve-wracking for beginners.

It's recommended to head over to a local field to try out your first throws. In the beginning the distance of your throws are most likely not too far for a smaller field. Public parks and open fields are great places to practice your throws. Ensure that the area is clear of people and obstacles to avoid accidents. Some parks may have dedicated areas for disc golf practice.

Pulsea Disc Golf Academy's introductory courses are designed to ease this transition. They facilitate a natural flow pattern that helps newbies easily navigate through the holes. These courses are family-friendly and a perfect fit for players of different ages and skill levels.

Consistent Learning and Improvisation

Disc golf is not just about throwing discs but also includes strategic decision making on the course. As players progress and develop their throwing techniques, they will face new challenges and obstacles that require a blend of skill and strategy.

The journey from a beginner to an advanced disc golfer is a constantly evolving learning process where every throw presents a new learning opportunity.

Practice plays a crucial role in mastering disc golf. New players are encouraged to visit open fields such as soccer or football fields to learn the flight pattern of their discs.

Without any obstructions, beginners can focus on their throw and observe the disc flight in real time. As disc golf gains popularity, having dedicated disc golf practice facilities is something that should be considered seriously going forward.
