In this series, you’ll do more than just watch great players throw. You’ll step inside their minds! Follow Thomas and Sofia shot by shot as they share their strategic approach, discuss discs and line choices, and break down how professionals think their way through tough holes. From risk management to shot shaping, every throw offers a chance to learn how the best make decisions under pressure.
Kelso Disc Golf Course is located on a special property owned by Conservation Halton. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Niagara Escarpment, Kelso’s blend of natural beauty and technical design offers both a scenic and tactical challenge. "Par 3 - Blue - 269 ft / 82 m
First hole of the Blue layout and also a nice open shot to start with. The elevation is tricky and it looks like its close to 40ft or 11 m to climb up to the green. "

Downhill shot to a green that is nested inside bushes. The trees on the right and the powerlines create a very unique challenge. If you end up short, you will propably go to the bush and scramble for sure.

Next, we have an uphill shot between two trees which makes the shot a little bit trickier. The green is tilted right but the grass is sticky, so there should be no rollaways here. The challenge is to get it up without hitting the trees.

Unique hole where you first go up, crest the top, and go down to the green inside the woods. The challenge here is to make sure that there is no one putting and then hitting the gap just right to drop that disc for a putt. Easier said than done, though...

Fairly large gap that you have to navigate from the tee, but then it opens up to a wide-open fairway. Green is protected by a tree, and the OB long is definitely in play.

First distance hole of the round. The hole is banking left and going uphill almost all the way. Tight OB on the right and a serious potential for a rollaway, but... Fortune favors the bold if you have the arm for it.
Long hole, lot's of ground to cover, lot's of tactics to test out so let's get to it!

This hole is a very demanding downhill that turns sharply to the right. Mando right of the teepad makes the shape very particular as you can see from our avid professionals right here.
Tricky shot with a mando forcing the angle. Downhilll and sharp right turn makes the backhand a tricky choice. The Canadian powerduo deemed this the second hardest birdie to get. "
