In the course you learn:
What are the basic disc angles
Differences between flat, hyzer, and anhyzer angle
How to execute different shot shapes
Using your whole body to create a desired shot shape
What kind of discs to use for different angles
How and when to use these throws
In this course, you will learn the basics of the different angles and trajectories when throwing forehand shots. This course goes hand in hand with the previous Angles and Trajectories course we did with Avery Jenkins.
Avery will guide you through the three release angles and how to throw them with varying disc speeds. The release angles are flat, hyzer, and anhyzer. In the first part of the course you will learn these terms and the meaning behind them.
The first physichal throw to learn during this course is one of the most important skills in the game of disc golf: learning to throw putters flat.
You will also learn how to throw everything from putters to high-speed drivers at all the different angles.
By the end of the course, you'll be a great flat, hyzer and anhyzer forehand thrower! But remember, repetition is key when practicing. It doesn’t matter if you are a touring pro or have been throwing for a few months, let's head to the field and throw some discs!

In these anhyzer shots, it is important to have a stack of identical discs at your disposal. Try to feel what you did, how you did it, and what kind of flight the disc had! Then make the adjustments to get to the wanted outcome.

Grab the stack of discs, preferably stable distance drivers. Learn by throwing the discs so follow Avery's advice and take notes on how the discs fly. If they flex out right early, add more power or angle. If they turn over too much, take some of the power off or release the disc flatter.
